We're Hiring

We're looking for a Regulatory and Compliance Director to guide us through our early-stage journey, from our launch, through to becoming an FCA-regulated, Electronic Money Institution with complete AML compliance. This is a chance to be a founding regulatory partner in an ambitious fintech with strong traction.
What You’ll Do
Advise on the regulatory roadmap for FCA authorisation as an EMI.
Lead preparation of our FCA application, policies, and required documentation.
Design and implement AML/CTF frameworks suitable for a scaling fintech.
Provide oversight on risk management, governance, and compliance procedures.
Liaise with FCA and other regulators as required during the application process.
Act as a trusted advisor to the founders and board on regulatory matters.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience with FCA authorisations (ideally in e-money, payments, or fintech)
Previous experience with and/or involving National Crime Agency.
Proven knowledge of UK AML/CTF regulations and compliance frameworks.
Eligible and experienced to act as SMF16/SMF17 (Compliance Oversight / MLRO) is a strong plus.
Pragmatic, solutions-driven, and comfortable working in a lean startup environment.

As a Non-Executive Board Member, you will play a critical role in governance, strategy, and oversight, helping us navigate the intersection of financial services, compliance, and innovation. This is a chance to become a founding strategic partner in building a fintech designed to restore trust in payments.
What You’ll Do
Provide strategic oversight and guidance as a NED Board Member of a high-growth fintech.
Contribute sector-specific expertise to strengthen governance and decision-making.
Support the founders and executive team in navigating regulatory challenges.
Act as a trusted sounding board on matters of risk, growth, and fraud-prevention innovation.
Champion the mission externally, acting as an ambassador for the company across industry networks.
Contribute to the development of the company culture, ensuring integrity and trust are maintained always.
What We’re Looking For
Senior leadership experience in one or more of: financial services, law, regulation, tech, cybersecurity, public policy.
Proven track record of contributing to governance at board or advisory level.
Strong understanding of financial crime, fraud-prevention, or regulatory challenges in fintech is a plus.
Pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and comfortable advising a fast-scaling startup.
